The flu vaccine is the best way to protect against the flu. The CDC recommends that all children from the ages of 6 months up to their 19th birthday get a flu vaccine every fall.
24-HOUR RULE
A child must be free of fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. During this 24-hour period, no over-the-counter medications for control of diarrhea and/or fever should be used.
