Medication at School
If your child is to take medication during school hours, the medication must be provided by the parent, and must be brought to the clinic as soon as the student arrives on campus. No medication shall be administered unless the nurse receives a written request from the parent, legal guardian, or other person having legal control of the student. The request must state the following: student's name, name of the medication, date, time, and the dosage.

No medication shall be administered unless the medication appears in the original container and is properly labeled.

No foreign medications will be accepted. All medications must be FDA approved. No anabolic steriods, dietary supplements, or herbal substances will be administered except if required by the IEP or Section 504 plan.
