if you've never used will look online before you may not realize how easy it can be to find accurate information maps pictures and even sound bytes for your projects and assignments to get started you'll need to open the World Book Online app using class link it will most beyond the second page of your apps if you don't see the icon in your app Library simply click on the plus sign in the top right-hand corner search for world book and then flip the toggle icon so that it appears in your app drawer when you open the app you will see many different these are all apps from the world book family so feel free to explore these later on but for now go ahead and click on the pencil icon on the top row that's called student this first page contains featured articles of all topics from by refuse to Nature to current events feel free to check these out when you finish your research today for this example let's pretend that I'm making an adobe spark page about Peru so I will go ahead and type Peru into the search bar and hit enter as you can see the search brought up a lot of results and some of them get pretty specific if I want some general information about the country I'll go ahead and click on the first link at the top of the page you can click on me Odyssey pictures maps and sounds related to your topic this is where I'm going to get my pictures from Once I found the pictures I liked and if save them to my device or project I'm going to go back into the article now you may open this page and think yourself wow this is so much in for well don't worry you don't have to read through all of this to find what you're looking for let's break all of this information up into bite-size Pieces by opening the table of contents from the three bars in the top left-hand Corner this is actually very helpful because my peruseproject is specific supposed to be about its land regions so I want to go ahead and look at that section now here's some great information that I can use for my project the recap how you can use World Book Online to get awesome and reliable information in just a few follow these steps One open the app in class link to select the student icon 3 type your topic or keyword into the search bar and Spa to search result that looks the best to you no don't forget that you can also use the other features of World Book Online like their pictures soundbites and timelines to take your project to the next level and as always don't forget to give credit where credit is due to make sure to copy and paste that MLA citation at the end of your assignment
