Open a whole world of reading with Sora the new reading at brought to you by Overdrive. To get started you want to make sure that you download Sora from Self Service. Since I already have this app I'll go ahead and open it from my app library. When you first open Sora, you'll first see any books that you currently have checked out. Right now I'm reading Catching Fire. Now if you click on the EXPLORE tab you'll be brought to this page that shows you popular books, specific subjects that you can look at, Lone Star reading list, and my favorite section is the "Available Now" section. This is where you can browse for books that are currently checked in, but I want to go ahead and search for a specific book from the Harry Potter series. So at the top left-hand corner, I'll tap in the SEARCH BAR and type in Harry Potter. This is going to bring up all of the Harry Potter books that are currently in our collection. You'll notice that most of them are already checked out and I have to put them on HOLD if I want to read them, so I want to just look at the books that are currently checked in by scrolling up, clicking on the refine option in the top right-hand corner. After this I'll click on where it says SHOW AVAILABLE BOOKS ONLY. Now my search results only show books that are currently checked in. Lucky for me, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the one that I want so I'll go ahead and click on borrow and it'll open straight for my browser since this is an audiobook it's going to go ahead and play the recording now. If I go back to my search result page, you'll notice that the book that I borrowed is currently downloading. This is a great nature because it means that I can listen to my book even when I'm not connected to Wi-Fi later on. Now let's say that I'm done listening to this book for now.  I'll go ahead and close out of Sora and maybe I'll come back to it later. Actually I think I read Catching Fire some more so I'll go ahead and click on store up to open up the app again Iran brought to my loans page and I'll click on Catching Fire when I click on this book. I'm given several different options I can open, them renew it or return it among other things. If I go ahead and open the book it's going to open up right to where I left off on chapter 2. This is great for whenever I need to stop reading but I don't want to lose my place. Well there you have it in a nutshell.
